We are getting close to training camps now meaning that the NBA season is just around the corner. Young talent is probably at its highest. Contenders are trying to buy in on needed role players and add the finishing touches to their team, whilst the rebuilding teams are trying to collect as many first round picks as possible for the next few drafts.

The NBA is at its best. Stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic are dominating the league. Whilst older veterans like Lebron James, Chris Paul and Russel Westbrook are not as dominant as in their primes. Its like every season a couple new teams are contending for the championship. This year their are about 10 realistic contenders. Some of these are the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers. This has something to do with the immense amount of talent that there is in the league. The contenders usually have 1-3 allstars on their team.

On the other hand this year many teams are tanking very hard. Team like the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs have traded all their stars. Teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets have a lot of 1st round picks. All the teams tanking have a common goal; getting the 1st overall pick in the 2023 draft. There is a very interesting prospect, which is said to be the next Lebron James to be drafted. His name is Victor Wembanyama and he plays for Metropolitans 92 (France). He is 7'3" and has handles like a guard. He shoots like Kevin Durant while blocking shots like Hakeem Olajuwon. He is the one owning the spotlight for this draft, but not too far behind is Scoot Henderson. He's a 6'2" Point Guard who plays for the G League Ignite. He is a really good finisher with both hands, even when contested and he has a good quick step.

It will for sure be a fun NBA season. It will have many ups and downs. Many teams will win more than 50 games and some less than 20 games. Some teams will fight for seeds until the last few games and other teams have given up 40 games into the NBA season. Rookies might have really good stats. I think it will be a good season because many teams will be competing until the end. If you have another opinion or any feedback please leave a comment.
